Bridge between all abilities

The Bridge is an outfit including musicians with and without disabilities. The band is made up of familiar faces, people that have been playing on the North Coast for years in well known acts like BandWagon, Snug and Invisible Friend, but this is the first Lismore gig for these guys as The Bridge.

Snug will also be playing on the night, and their blues and roots style is something not to be missed, especially their young singer/ songwriter Jack Broadbent.

You can catch this great night of fun at Lismore Bowling Club onSaturday, March 3, from 7pm. It's just $8/10 with the money going towards the band going to Eastern Europe later this year to run workshops for people with disabilities.

Rosanna has designs on female taboo

Artist Rosanna Pimm uses 3500 porcelain tampons to created her large scale performance installation Riots of Passage in The Quad as part of The Lismore Women's Festival on International Women's Day. Laying down and de-constructing the mandala structure symbolises the impermanence of the menstrual cycle and an end to female inequality in the world.
