Brazilian goalie sentenced to 22 years in jail

BRAZILIAN goalkeeper Bruno Fernandes de Souza has been convicted and sentenced to 22 years and three months imprisonment for ordering the murder of ex-girlfriend Eliza Samudio to avoid paying child support for their love child.

Though convicted, the former Flamengo captain maintained that he knew of the killing, but had no other involvement.
