Bonsai theft no small deal

POLICE are appealing to the public for information after 13 Bonsai trees were stolen from a nursery at Teven.

Police said the trees, one of which was 20-years-old and considered to be quite valuable, were stolen from Teven Valley Plants on Eltham Rd between 8pm on Monday and 6am on Wednesday.

Anyone with any information on the theft is asked to call Ballina police on 6681 8699 or Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000.
