Body of teenage boy found on the Gold Coast

POLICE are investigating the death of a teenage boy on the Gold Coast.

Police were called to a Little Norman Street house in Southport at 7.45am on Friday.

"Forensic officers are at the scene and investigations are continuing," police said in a statement.

Fairfax reports that police are treating the boy's death as suspicious until proven otherwise, although initial investigations suggest there may be no suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident.
