HATS RIGHT: Pete Murray is hosting a session at the Brewery.

Chisel-cheeked popstar Pete Murray is playing an acoustic show in his adopted home town of Byron Bay tonight, Thursday, January 24.

Reprising his album Blue Sky Blue, he's doing it as part of a tour called The Byron Sessions, calling in fellow Byron residents who also strum things for a living.

Hence blues howler Ash Grunwald, Scott Owen from the Living End rap, roots-rapping queen Natalie Pa'apa'a (Blue King Brown), plus Busby Marou, Bernard Fanning and Darren Middleton of Powderfinger will also have a stab. Check em out at the Brewery in Byron tonight and again on Thursday 21st February at the - Lismore Workers Club. Tickets from www.oztix.com.au or www.lismoreworkers.com.au.
