LISMORE-BASED Blood, Guts & Firetrucks, all students of the SCU music degree, have been working hard at garnering a reputation - and they're putting it on the line this Friday, March 1, when they play the Byron Bay Brewery - with $15 on the door.

Formed in 2011, the band have been playing live shows from Wollongong to Brisbane.

Last year brought national radio play and a win in the Lismore Young Songwriter of the Year competition.

The danceable rock band are recording their first official release and embarking on some serious touring, starting at the Brewery from 8pm.
