Biodynamics field day
Austrian philosopher Dr Rudolph Steiner is probably best known for the education system he developed and the schools that take his name, but he also developed a system of agriculture known as Biodynamics.
Biodynamic farms seek to enhance soil structure and nutrient cycles with the use of specific preparations which are made from farm-sourced materials.
The Biodynamic Gardener’s Association will be conducting a field day near Nimbin on Sunday, May 2.
They will show you how to farm without using any chemicals or harmful pesticides, how to produce virtually all required fertilizers and pest control preparations on your own farm from locally available natural materials plus how to steadily build soil and soil fertility.
The cost is $50 for a single or $80 for a couple, or there is a concession price of $40 for a single or $60 for a couple.
There are limited places so contact Jim at firstname.lastname@example.org to get more information.
