BINDI Irwin paid tribute to one of Hollywood's classic leading ladies on Dancing With The Stars today.

The 17-year-old wildlife warrior continues a stellar run of performances on the ballroom dancing competition, although she didn't receive a perfect score this week.

Irwin chose to pay tribute to her "fashion inspiration" Grace Kelly in a week themed around influential figures in the lives of the show's celebrity contestants.

"For me she is such a strong woman and was someone who really stuck to her principals no matter where she went in life," she said.

She and professional dance partner Derek Hough performed an energetic Foxtrot to Mika's song Grace Kelly, gliding across the dance floor.

"When I watch you I am trying to find something wrong, because I'm like 'I can't keep giving this girl 10s all the time'," judge Julianne Hough said.

"The one thing I found this time is when you get in your frame you tend to... stick your chin out a little bit."

Irwin failed to win the immunity up for grabs after former Backstreet Boy Nick Carter and his dance partner Sharna earned a perfect score of 30.

The show's judging panel has come under fire on social media in recent weeks for a perceived bias towards Irwin.

But her dance partner praised her work ethic.

"That's the thing about her, she goes home and looks at videos and watches YouTube and movies," Hough said.

She's just constantly doing her homework, which is relatively rare. When she comes in she's ready go to and she's fresh."

Irwin also revealed a strange remedy for her sore feet.

The 17-year-old has apparently been using super glue to protect broken nails and blisters on her worn out feet.

"Unless something's broken you can keep going," she said.

Just six celebrity dancers now remain on the show after singer Andy Grammer's elimination.
