Big music for the lads

The Northern Rivers Big Band and The Country Experience are holding a charity concert to benefit Southern Cross LADS at the Lismore Workers Club this Sunday, November 1, from 2-5pm.

Southern Cross LADS was formed in 2006 after the tragic death of four young boys near Byron and is a charitable organisation that aims to develop a driver education facility for the local area.

The Northern Rivers Big Band is an 18-piece band and plays favourites from the 1940s to 1970s - it's a nerve-tingling sound…

The Country Experience features some of the district's finest country and western musicians.

It'll be an interesting combo.

Tickets are $15 from the club or at the door.
