ANGIE Murray was the eighth housemate evicted from Big Brother tonight.

The blonde was booted off the reality show, after receiving just 0.8 percent of the public vote less than intruder Sam in the show's first six-way nomination.

The 21-year-old admitted to host Sonia Kruger that her short temper contributed to her four nominations and eventual eviction.

"I'm a firecracker," she said.

"I think everybody knew that when I came into here.

"My fuse, I'll probably try to lengthen that."

Angie's mum was in the studio audience along with other housemate friends and family members, who will enter the Big Brother House tomorrow to help with nominations.

The Gold Coast sales rep gave the final nomination super power of the series to Brisbane beautician Layla.

Rosanna has designs on female taboo

Artist Rosanna Pimm uses 3500 porcelain tampons to created her large scale performance installation Riots of Passage in The Quad as part of The Lismore Women's Festival on International Women's Day. Laying down and de-constructing the mandala structure symbolises the impermanence of the menstrual cycle and an end to female inequality in the world.
