Big band's big gig

The Northern Rivers Big Band’s first concert for the year is at the Ballina RSL Club on Sunday, February 7.

The band consists of 18 musicians, including two vocalists, Dean Doyle and Jim Fairfull. Roger Munsie is the band leader.

Their concerts favour the well-known and much-loved tunes of the big band era presented in the style of Glen Miller, Benny Goodman and that crew. And there’s nothing better than to hear a big band live. Sends shivers down your spine.

The concert starts at 2pm with doors opening at 1pm.

Tickets are $10 from the club.
