Bellamy knows Broncos will put up a fight on Friday night

STORM coach Craig Bellamy certainly won't underestimate the Broncos this Friday night at Suncorp Stadium, despite the contrasting forms of both sides.

Defending premiers the Storm have picked up where they left off last season, winning their first three games, while the Broncos have won just once.

But Bellamy has been impressed with what he's seen in defence from Brisbane, particularly the team's 22-6 victory against the Dragons in round two.

"I don't think they're as bad as everyone's making out. They're (one of) the best defensive teams in the competition," he said.

And while the Broncos attack has managed just 36 points in season 2013, Bellamy said he believed that was an easy fix.

"You can turn your attack around in not too long a time," he said.

"They've got a lot of good players there - their two halves are two really good halves."

Ever the perfectionist, Bellamy still there were plenty of areas where his own team could improve.

"Our completions have been a bit patchy. Some of our attacking structures haven't been as fluent as we would like," he said.

"That's to be a little bit expected with our short turnarounds and hot weather games."
