Bec’s beauty hard to Miss

BEC Heilers didn't flash her radiant smile straight away after being announced as the winner of the Genesis Miss Coffs Coast competition last week.

"I was in shock," the 29-year-old from Copmanhurst said.

"I just stood there, and someone actually pushed me forward and said, 'Hey - you won!' "

Bec progressed to last week's final, and beat 14 women to the fitness-based beauty title.

She says the experience was one she'll never forget.

"I've been in these competitions before just to give my self-esteem a bit of a boost," Bec said.

"So to be announced the winner of the whole thing was really unexpected."

And despite the ease with which she modelled for the camera in our photoshoot, it's been a long road to success for Bec following a strict gym and diet routine.

"I've been in serious training for the past three to four years, I'm there six days a week," Bec said

Bec's ambition is to take her success now into the field of bodybuilding.
