BASIC INSTINCT: Jodie Digney is as one with the double bass.

Jodie Digney, gyrating chanteuse of The Hoochers and Blueskillet Rovers is fronting her own outfit, Bassix, this Friday, January 25 at the Nimbin Hotel.

With herself on acoustic guitar, singing and story-telling, Julian Smith on double-bass and Josh Rust playing blues-inflected guitar, they're joined by Matt Elliott on drums.

Expect folksy pop-rock and a pretty relaxed evening at Bassix's first gig for the year. The shindig kicks off at 7.30pm.
