Autism family day

April is Autism Awareness month, but because Easter got in the way, Autism Spectrum Australia is getting in early and holding a family fun day for people with autism and their families.

It will be held at the House With No Steps in Alstonville this Saturday, March 20, from 10am to 1pm.

There will be free face painting, a jumping castle, a water park and sausage sizzle.

“It’s a great opportunity for families with autism to meet each other and get some support,” Sharon Plush from Autism Spectrum Australia said.
