Australia Day is time for an office party

WORKPLACES across the nation are being encouraged to begin preparations for the 2014 Australia Day in the Office celebrations.

The National Australia Day Council's CEO Jeremy Lasek is encouraging working Australians everywhere - in offices, workshops, factories and retail outlets - to share the celebration of our national day with their work colleagues on Friday, January 24.

"As Australia Day, the 26th of January, falls on a Sunday this year, there's a great opportunity for workplaces to mark the day together on the Friday," he said.
