Australia beat India in WACA Test

AUSTRALIA have defeated India by an innings and 37 runs inside three days in the third Test at the WACA Ground.

Australia wrapped up victory shortly after lunch on day three, with Ben Hilfenhaus finishing with 4-45 and Peter Siddle chipping in with three wickets.

9.30AM: AUSTRALIA'S four-man pace attack will be aiming to make the most of a cracking WACA Ground wicket when the third Test against India resumes today.

India will resume play on day three in all sorts of trouble at 4-88 in their second innings, with the visitors still requiring a further 120 runs just to make Australia bat again.

Fourteen wickets fell on day two as pacemen from both sides started to take advantage of a WACA wicket that is slowly starting to crack.

Australian left-arm paceman Mitchell Starc said he and his fellow quicks would look to exploit the cracks even more today as the home side attempts to wrap up victory and a 3-0 series lead.

"Hopefully we can get stuck into those cracks and take those last six wickets," Starc said.

Rosanna has designs on female taboo

Artist Rosanna Pimm uses 3500 porcelain tampons to created her large scale performance installation Riots of Passage in The Quad as part of The Lismore Women's Festival on International Women's Day. Laying down and de-constructing the mandala structure symbolises the impermanence of the menstrual cycle and an end to female inequality in the world.
