Aussies on way out with India securing another Test win

INDIA was on target for a third straight Test victory over Australia on Monday.

After bowling out the tourists for 223 in their second innings in Mohali on the final day of the third Test, India was 30-0 at tea, needing a further 103 to heap more misery on Michael Clarke and his team.

Australia's tail had earlier done its best to hold up India's pursuit of victory.

Brad Haddin, who made 30, before missing a straight one to be plumb LBW, put on 36 with first innings batting hero Mitchell Starc, thenStarc and Xavier Doherty added another 44 before Starc was last man out for 35.

Nightwatchman Nathan Lyon had tried his best and made 18 before he was dismissed.

Clarke went for the same score, although TV replays suggested the injured skipper was unlucky, both with the decision and the fact that Jadeja appeared to have no-balled.

Phillip Hughes, too, who finally got some runs (69) in this series, also looked unlucky, with the ball seemingly missing leg stump after being given out lbw to Ashwin.

Moises Henriques failed again with two and Peter Siddle made 13.
