Serpentine Gallery in North Lismore (Lismore's community gallery) opens its latest exhibition, 2012 Artfelt Art Prize - Salon Des Refuses, this Friday, September 14, from 6-8pm.

The opening night fun and games will feature the artists, wine, nibblies, prizes and the marvellous mayor of Lismore, Jenny Dowell. Plus you can vote for the people's choice award.

Now in its third year, the Artfelt Art Prize is a public exhibition showcasing professional and emerging artists from across Australia and overseas working in all media.

The theme for the exhibition this year is 'On light and drakness'.

This event is a fundraiser for Heartfelt House, providing much needed support to adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse.

Light refreshments are available. The exhibition ends on September 30.

Entry is by gold coin donation.
