THE Coraki Art Prize is giving a long distance shout-out to artists in the Northern Rivers, extending invitations to enter the prize, closing on October 17.

From the workshops run by internationally renowned artist Digby Moran, to the quiz nights hosted by Senator John Faulkner, the Coraki Art Prize has something for everyone.

In winning last year's Richmond Valley's Community Event of the Year the Prize was described as "the glue that binds a community together".

The quiz night will be held at The Youth in Coraki on Saturday, September 29.

Opening night and the announcement of the awards will be at the Coraki Conference Centre on Friday, October 26.
