Art, poetry and an Eskimo

This year’s Affordable Arts Christmas show at the Roxy Gallery in Kyogle is titled – wait for it – Santa said, “Eskimo Nell Is Not Appearing”. (No, I don’t know what it means either...) It’ll be officially opened this Saturday, December 19, at 11am, with a bush poetry performance by the Kyogle Writers Group. (All are welcome to recite their bush rhymes.)

Santa said, “Eskimo Nell Is Not Appearing” runs till January 16. This is an opportunity to support local artists. And to score an original artwork for Chrissie. (Why buy from China?) Any works purchased from this exhibition can be taken from the gallery straight away (after the official opening event, anyway).

The Roxy Gallery will be closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.

For more info phone the gallery on 6632 3518.
