Art for the soul

Chang is a Thai artist who has been living in the Northern Rivers for the past 11 years. He is best known for his performance art and for instigating and facilitating community art projects to create ‘freestyle community art’.

Now he will be holding his first solo exhibition, The Art of Soul, at Serpentine Gallery, North Lismore.

“My pictures are medicine and are good for the soul, if you have a headache, a broken heart, or a confused soul then my pictures will be your medicine. You don’t need a doctor, just experience the Art of Soul,” Chang said.

The opening is Friday night from 6pm and the exhibition will run until the end of the month.

Also opening that night at Serpentine is a photographic exhibition called Shared Vision by Joel Hughes.
