Arrest over attack on Aussie tourist

ARGENTINIAN police have arrested a 30-year-old man over a Boxing Day attack on a 23-year-old Perth woman, Emma Kelly.

The ABC reported that police had taken into custody a local man and seized evidence said to link him to the attack.

Ms Kelly was reported missing after failing to return from a hike in the mountain area of Cajon Del Azul, in the Patagonia region of southern Argentina.

Ms Kelly had been staying at a friend's house in the town of El Bolson and had been driven to an easy hiking trail nearby.

She was found four days later, disoriented and dehydrated.

Rosanna has designs on female taboo

Artist Rosanna Pimm uses 3500 porcelain tampons to created her large scale performance installation Riots of Passage in The Quad as part of The Lismore Women's Festival on International Women's Day. Laying down and de-constructing the mandala structure symbolises the impermanence of the menstrual cycle and an end to female inequality in the world.
