Ksubi, the Insight and Something Else go into receivership

A TRIO of upmarket fashion brands including denim company Ksubi have gone into receivership, although its seven retail stores continue to operate.

Receivers Jirsch Sutherland were appointed to take over the running of Ksubi Copyright and Mentmore on Tuesday at the request of its key lender.

Aside from Ksubi, the Insight and Something Else brands are also being operated by the receiver for now.

Ksubi's website appears to still allow shoppers to purchase items online.

Its three brands are stocked through Australia, Asia, Europe, New Zealand, and North America.

Rosanna has designs on female taboo

Artist Rosanna Pimm uses 3500 porcelain tampons to created her large scale performance installation Riots of Passage in The Quad as part of The Lismore Women's Festival on International Women's Day. Laying down and de-constructing the mandala structure symbolises the impermanence of the menstrual cycle and an end to female inequality in the world.
