Anthony Mundine scores TKO knockout of Shane Mosley

ANTHONY Mundine has succeeded where Manny Pacquiao, Floyd Mayweather jnr and Oscar de la Hoya did not.

Mundine knocked out, technically speaking, Shane Mosley, becoming the first man in history to do so.

The American superstar was unable to come out for the seventh round due to severe back spasms.

The fight stopped prematurely but, the way the bout was progressing, there is every chance the result could have been the same had it gone the distance.

All three judges had Mundine ahead on points - two scored it 58-56, the other 60-55.
