AUSSIE Thai cuisine specialist Simon Blaby has been appointed executive chef at luxury Bali property Semara Resort & Spa Seminyak.
Heading the boutique property's talented kitchen brigade, Simon offers a wealth of culinary experience including working at the acclaimed Spirit House at Yandina on the Sunshine Coast, and more recently as executive chef of one of Bali's most famous restaurants, La Lucciola in Seminyak.
During his time at the Spirit House, Simon's love for authentic Thai cooking was born, resulting in many accolades including being inducted into the American Express Hall of Fame, and earning Restaurant of the Year honours three years running.
The perfect way to indulge in Simon's passion for fresh local ingredients and unique cooking flair is during Semara Resort & Spa's special Thai Buffet Nights, held each Tuesday from 6pm at Georgies Pool Bar & Restaurant.
