A peaceful protest

THIS photo was sent to us by Marie Cameron from the front line at Doubtful Creek.

"Later in the day (Saturday, February 16), after Don's Party, about 200 people walked along Booths Rd toward the drill gate," she said.

"Once there, the unlocked gate was opened and en masse, people walked up the hill to the drill site.

"Some people spoke to the security guards but no one attempted to scale the fence or shout abuse. It was a peaceful, colourful, uninterrupted walk to the drill enclosure."

She said police arrived an hour later, but no arrests were made.
