A novel way to be remembered

Six of Australia’s most famous writers have recently been included on new postage stamps, and Australia Post has generously given The Echo a special 2010 Australia Post Australian Legends prize pack to giveaway to one lucky reader.

Writers pictured on the new postage stamps are Peter Carey, Bryce Courtenay, Thomas Keneally, David Malouf, Colleen McCullough and Tim Winton.

The prize pack includes a commemorative biography book entitled Novel Lives: Legends of the Written Word, a stamp pack featuring the six postage stamps and a first day cover, plus a set of maxi cards featuring portraits of each of the six artists.

To go in the draw to win the prize pack, phone 6622 2888 between 10 and 10.30am next Monday, February 1, and name a novel by one of the authors that has won a Booker Prize.
