A musical feast for Con concert

The second free ‘cushion concert’ will be held this Sunday, March 7, in the grounds of the Northern Rivers Conservatorium Arts Centre from 11am.

The concert will feature Carmelia McWilliam and Friends Flute Trio – featuring Carmelia on flute with cellist Robbie Farrar and violinist Stephanie Higgs. The trio will perform a repertoire spanning Baroque, Classical, Romantic and 20th Century styles.

Also performing are Shelly Hughes and Dan Brown (pictured) who will serve up a feast of blues, soul and jazz as well as Black Train, who play ‘old timey’ music from the American Appalacians, from the 1870s up until the early 1900s.

The free concerts are part of the Lismore Promotion Program.
