AUSTRALIA'S own Mark Zuckerberg might find himself the woman of his dreams on Beauty and the Geek.

A millionaire is among the crop of 10 geeks cast in the fourth series of the show.

"This is a gentleman who certainly has made himself quite wealthy with what he does," host Bernard Curry said.

"It has to do with computers and social networking. He's a little bit like Mark Zuckerberg in a way."

The identity of the cashed-up geek won't be revealed until next week, but the twist has certainly caused a dynamic shift among the 10 beauties.

"You see their eyes light up. The millionaire is a cat among the pigeons," he said.

"Someone who can provide all the trappings of life is an attractive thing to some women."

Last year Queensland geek Lachlan Cosgrove not only won the show's grand prize but also found his first love in beauty Jordan Finlayson.

Curry said there was more romance in the mansion this year.

"With one particular beauty and geek, there's a really special love story going on," he said.

"They find each other early on in the season and it really kind of blossoms."

Queensland geek Jason, from Sippy Downs on the Sunshine Coast got off to a great start with his partner, fellow Queenslander Kristy, when they won the first challenge last week.

The height of the show for many viewers, and Curry, are the geek makeovers, where bespectacled introverts are transformed into stylish lads.

"A couple of guys come out looking like genuine movie stars. They're really good looking guys. It's astonishing," he said.

"That's my favourite time of the whole series. Apart from the fact they look so different, it's about how they view themselves.

"That's how we can see the true positivity in this, when they see themselves in the mirror and they see someone they've never seen before, someone who can be attractive to the opposite sex and be socially active."

But this week it's the geeks dressing up their beauties. The geeks step up as fashion photographers with their partners as their muses.

They must choose the outfit, direct a hair and makeup team and style their shoot with just 15 minutes behind the camera. Their aim is to impress celebrity socialite Brynne Edelsten.
