A bona fide bluegrass bonanza in Eltham

A BONA fide legend in the world of bluegrass, mandolin maestro Mike Compton is coming to Eltham this Friday, April 5, for a concert at the Masonic Hall.

With a career spanning more than 35 years, Mike has played with Elvis Costello and the Sugarcanes, Jack White, John Hartford, Ralph Stanley, David Grier, T-Bone Burnett and the Nashville Bluegrass Band.

He's also conducting a bluegrass workshop this Thursday, April 4, from 6pm at The Northern Rivers Conservatorium, in Lismore. Book at The Con on 6621 2266.
