Nurturing the artist's ability

The VeryAbility Festival is a local project that gives emerging artists with disabilities the mentoring, skills and encouragement to pursue their creative muses. Art brings pleasure to the artist.

The artworks presented here are currently on display at Serpentine Gallery in North Lismore. The gallery is also showcasing a photographic exhibition by artist Michael White who has been documenting the mentoring workshops.

There are also VeryAbility exhibitions running at Roxy Gallery in Kyogle and at the Fountain Room in Lismore City Hall.

The VeryAbility Festival is made possible by Premiere Picture Framing, Serpentine Galley, Roxy Gallery, Newtrain and the Macushla Doyle Memorial trust.

And by the generosity of spirit shown by local people.
