Teens arrested as revelers leaving party cause havoc

FIVE teenagers have been arrested after an out of control party forced police to call for back-up on the NSW Central Coast.

Between 80 and 100 revelers were leaving a party at Kariong late Saturday when a number of youths allegedly caused chaos in surrounding streets.

As officers moved the crowd on, they were allegedly abused and pelted with glass bottles.

Several residents came out of the homes and protect their cars and property from the group.

Five boys aged between 14 and 17 were arrested and taken to the Gosford station.

Police are appealing for anyone who suffered property damage to come forward.
