Search for missing 14-year-old over as teen found

A NATIONAL hunt for missing 14-year-old Krystal Muhieddine is now over after police found the teenager in country Victoria.

Her parents Wally and Suzanne flew to Melbourne soon after to collect their daughter after police announced her discovery on Friday morning.

Before news broke about the teen being found safe, Queensland Police had begun canvassing social media for any information it could pass on to its southern counterparts.

The Sydney Morning Herald reported Mr Muhieddine declined to discuss where exactly Krystal was found, saying police had asked for the location not to be revealed.
