Ben Van Kleef will be blowing his own trumpet while Kyle Watson tinkles the ivories to create some smooth jazz, blues and hip-swing at 561 Alphadale. They promise a cool jazz ambience to aid the digestion of your food on Thursday May 13 from 6pm.

Local guitar slinger Tim Sladden returns to the North Coast after a stint in Sydney. But he’s back with his debut EP in tow and will be playing at the Lismore City Bowlo on Tuesday, May 11, with pianist Jack Britten as well as Dave Tweedie on bass and Pete Wilkins on drums. $10/$7 gets you in from 8pm.

 

Sam Keeves (vocals) and Gary Pinto (piano) play the Jazz-Bah in Ballina on Saturday night. They’ll be performing tunes from their new ’live’ album Let The Light In. The loveliness begins at 6pm.

Byron based singer /songwriter Tim Stokes blends elements of folk and blues into his own rootsy style. Tim has been developing his craft for 13 years, busking and performing up and down the East Coast. He will be playing at Tommys in Lismore on Friday night from 9pm, playing a repertoire of soulful original ballads and much loved covers.

 

Push have been entertaining crowds on the North Coast for five years. Fronted by Nikki McGowan, they promise to get the crowd at Mary Gilhooleys rocking on Saturday night.
