After supporting both Cog and The Butterfly Effect on national tours this year, Calling All Cars will be celebrate the release of their latest single Hold, Hold, Fire with a gig at the Beach Hotel in Byron next Thursday, November 26, at 8.30pm. They’ll be supported by NSW Central Coast rockers After The Fall.

Alstonville’s Lazy Beans Café continues its Food & Jazz Fiesta this Saturday night, November 21, with jazz and blues duo Kyle Watson (pictured) and Sharon Cooper. Featuring the tunes of Joni Mitchell, Mose Allison, Stevie Wonder and others, the pair will provide cool and delicious jazz for dining. The music kicks off just after 6pm.

Those ever-touring, rockin’ country lads The Re-Mains will play an afternoon matinee from 2pm at the Billinudgel Hotel this Sunday, November 22. With a new album nearly finished, the band will be back on the road early next year, warming up for their third Canadian run with tours to Victoria and the Northern Territory.

The trio Horn Among The Roses was a hit at the recent Bellingen Jazz Festival. With Sharny Russell on vocals/piano, John Hoffman on flugelhorn and Elizabeth Lord on vocals, this combo will serve up a slightly different jazz smorgasbord when it plays the Jazz-Bah at the Ballina Hotel this Saturday, November 21, from 6pm.
