Israel furious over US-Iran nuclear deal

A DEAL between Iran and the United States over the vexed issue of nuclear armament has sparked anger from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

BBC News reported Mr Netanyahu said Iran "got the deal of the century, and the international community got a very bad deal" during talks at the weekend.

He made the comments during a whirlwind tour of the Middle East by US Secretary of State John Kerry, who he briefly met at Tel Aviv airport.

The comments come after Mr Netanyahu's repeated warnings about the potential ramifications of a nuclear-armed Iran.

It is understood the deal offered, which has not officially been made public, included the easing of many international economic sanctions on Iran.
