IN keeping with the ecclectic appeal of their themed rooms, Hotel Pelirocco enlisted knit wit Brit Kate Jenkins to add her crafty touch to one of their rooms.

Kate took her task seriously, spending a month knitting curtains and lamp shade covers and crocheting bits and pieces of decor. Even the phone, which looks like a retro rotary, gets a knitted cozy, leaving it looking oddly like a giant, tasty licorice allsort.
