Free online tutoring

If you’re stressing about school exams and want to get some personalised help from a tutor but can’t afford it, the Richmond Tweed Regional Library might be able to help.

They have recently introduced a free online homework help service called “yourtutor” that is available to anyone with a library card from Monday to Friday from 4pm to 8pm. The service is provided through funding from Banana Coast Credit Union and Griffith University.

Go to www.rtrl.nsw.gov.au, click the yourtutor logo on the front page and use a library card number to log in. A real life tutor will be online to help with exam preparation, study skills, maths revision, assignment proof reading or even the finer points of calculus. All the tutors are subject specialists, are Australian educated, understand what students are going through and they only work with one student at a time.
