Accused kidnapper to stay behind bars

ACCUSED kidnapper, who allegedly dragged an unconscious woman around a hotel on the NSW mid north coast, will remain in jail for at least another month.

Jeremy Leigh Waters, 22, is accused of walking into the female toilets at Coffs Harbour's Plantation Hotel, pulling a woman out by her clothes and dumping her in a store room.

He has been in custody since he was arrested at his Ballina home in November last year.

The case was back before the Sydney District Court on Wednesday where a bail hearing was set for October 14.
