World peace in Bangers

At 5am on Monday, November 11, 1918, the Germans signed the Armistice the hostilities of World War I ended after four years. Celebrations rang out across the globe. In 1938 US Congress passed a Bill that each November 11 shall be dedicated to the cause of world peace.

To celebrate the vision of a peaceful world there will be an Armistice Day Dance Israeli circle dancing, Aussie bush dancing and creative dancing at the Anglican Church Hall in Bangalow, this Saturday, November 11.

The dances will be called and sung by Liora Claff, music by the fabulous Coolangubra and food by Baraka Gourmet Foods.

Doors open at 7.30pm. Entry is $12/10/5.
