Sculpture on the farm

Keith Cameron is a farmer and sculpture. This Saturday you can check out his Sculpture Park and see cool things. Like this wall.

Tabulam farmer Keith Cameron raises more than soybeans and cattle on his property. He has transformed obsolete machinery and discarded junk into art objects. Keith had his first solo exhibition at the Lismore Regional Gallery earlier this year. However he says, Its easier to assemble large sculptures here and get people to come, rather than transport them to shows.

So over the years he has formed his own sculpture park where the public can view his artworks.

The Thursday Plantation East Coast Sculpture Show is organising a field day at the Keith Cameron Sculpture Park this Saturday, November 11.

There are buses departing Thursday Plantation, Ballina, at 8.30am and Lismore Regional Gallery at 9.15am. $40 gets you the bus trip, morning tea and a sausage sizzle, and entrance to Keiths Sculpture Park. Or drive yourself there for $15 (morning tea and lunch).

For bookings and more info phone Priya on 0417 026 564 or Keith on 6661 3511.
