Call of the puns

The Lismore Cup has been run and won (thats the Poetry Cup, not that horse thing), but as always, theres more poetic work to be done so the Live Poets will return to the Rous Hotel next Wednesday, November 15, for their penultimate show of the year.

The evening will feature a poetry slam, together with open and invited readings. This months show will also feature readings from the just launched Midflight at the Oasis the third collection published by Nimbins Oasis Caf Poets.

Artist Rosanna Pimm uses 3500 porcelain tampons to created her large scale performance installation  Riots of Passage in The Quad  as part of The Lismore Women's Festival on International Women's Day. Laying down and de-constructing the mandala structure symbolises the impermanence of the menstrual cycle and an end to female inequality in the world.
