Rangers clobber Sisters

Rous Rangers proved too strong for the Blues Sisters in the Far North Coast Softball on Saturday. Strong batting led by Libby Cramp, Denise Simes and pick up player Sharon Fish led the the way for the Rous side. Meanwhile, Sisters had trouble getting past second base.

The youth division plays Friday night at 6pm. This season has seen the introduction of two school teams, Richmond River High and Trinity Catholic College, both of which are very competitive and will be hard to beat.

Juniors have decided to stick to Saturday morning T-ball/Modball at 8.30am and Junior League is at 9.30am.

More players are needed for all junior grades. Interested players should phone 0412 816 237.

Rosanna has designs on female taboo

Artist Rosanna Pimm uses 3500 porcelain tampons to created her large scale performance installation Riots of Passage in The Quad as part of The Lismore Women's Festival on International Women's Day. Laying down and de-constructing the mandala structure symbolises the impermanence of the menstrual cycle and an end to female inequality in the world.
