Djanbung Gardens opens it doors during November

Djanbung Gardens Permaculture will be holding free information days each Saturday during November so people can find out all about their vocational courses in permaculture and see how the practical skills taught can be implemented.

This is the third year Djanbung Gardens has offered accredited vocational courses in permaculture (Certificate III, IV and Diploma) with people as far away as England and the USA registering their interest.

At Djanbung Gardens we offer a unique learning environment surrounded by working examples of the concepts taught I call it the living classroom, bridging the gap between theory and practice, says Robyn Francis, international permaculture designer and educator. Sustainability is firmly back on the agenda, and these courses provide the skills training for a new generation of designers, facilitators and practitioners to meet the challenges of climate change and a post-carbon future.

The information sessions start at 10am each Saturday and will be followed by a tour of the facility and gardens.

For more information phone 6689 1755 or email robyn@permaculture.com.au.
