Formed in Brisbane a little over a year ago Texas Tea (pictured) perform mainly as a duo with Kate Jacobson on vocals, guitar, bass, glockenspiel and hi-hat tambourine, and Benjamin Dougherty on vocals, kick drum, guitar, dobro, lap steel, mandolin and harmonica. Wow, how many arms do these Brissie types have?

Their genre is alt-country and this Saturday, October 28, theyll launch their new album Take A Sip at the Bangalow Hotel from 8pm.

Their debut double single Macy and Me/Caroline has received airplay all over Australia.
