Home-based business meeting

Home-based businesses across the region are invited to attend a meeting in Ballina next Wednesday, November 1, which includes a talk by business and personal growth expert John Hale.

The meeting is being organised by the newly-formed Ballina Shire Home Based Business Network (BSHBBN), part of a growing trend of specialised cluster groups being developed in the shire by the Ballina Economic Development Unit and Ballina Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The shires economic development officer Jane Laverty said the aim of the cluster groups was to help businesses focus on knowledge sharing, networking and business-growth strategies specific to their location and/or their products and services.

The meeting will be held at the Blue Room Riverside Restaurant in River Street, Ballina, from 10am-12pm. To register phone Jane on 6686 1419 or email
