Info session to reduce teenage risk

Risky behaviour by teenagers and ways to keep them safe will be the focus of an information night next Wednesday, November 1, for parents and teenagers from the Alstonville/Wollongbar plateau.

The theme for the information night, to be held at the Alstonville High School hall from 7pm, is Keeping Our Young People Safe, and will involve local police addressing parents about laws and issues affecting young people such as underage drinking, drug use and safe driving.

Principal David Silcock said the information night was appropriate with break-up parties, schoolies week and end-of-year celebrations approaching.

For further information call the school on 6628 5222.
