eBay a valuable new tool for small business

The Northern Rivers Business Advisory Service is holding a one-day practical workshop in Lismore for small businesses wanting to make the most of eBay.

The workshop will be held next Wednesday, October 25, at Mary Gilhooleys Pub from 9.30am-3.30pm. It costs $65 including lunch, and is presented by Natasha Searle, an eBay education specialist.

eBay was once the domain of the home shopper and seller, but businesses are now realising that with a captive worldwide audience of 125 million (and growing day by day), it makes good business sense to sell your products online.

Everything from spare parts and cars to books and artworks are now sold an eBay, and of course you dont need your own website to begin selling.

Bookings for the eBay workshop are essential. Phone 1300 650 058 or email

Rosanna has designs on female taboo

Artist Rosanna Pimm uses 3500 porcelain tampons to created her large scale performance installation Riots of Passage in The Quad as part of The Lismore Women's Festival on International Women's Day. Laying down and de-constructing the mandala structure symbolises the impermanence of the menstrual cycle and an end to female inequality in the world.
