The far comes near

This photograph is part of Su Garfinkles exhibition of photographs Near & Far which opens at Armisteads Gallery in Wyrallah Road, Lismore, next Thursday, October 26.

Su, who studied photography in the UK, has spent the last 30 years travelling and recording the people, their lives and their diverse cultures. This culminated in her recently published photographic book Papua New Guinea Highland and Coastal Peoples.

Sus work has been exhibited worldwide including London, Buenos Aires and New York, and now comes to Lismore.

Near & Far runs till November 7.
